"After our stay at Walnut Cottage my parents (in their late seventies), 6 year old son and labrador Mabel all announced they wanted to move there. OK, maybe Mabel didn't say so, but she was very happy with the underfloor heated floor and we went on some fab walks through the village and past the church, where she had great fun running from us to chase the local hares. The village is small but perfectly formed, with a handy Co-op a one minute walk from the cottage for forgotten supplies and The Rose and Crown, with really friendly staff offering advice on how to always win at noughts and crosses and lovely food. Everything in Walnut Cottage is gorgeous, meaning you come away with house envy."
